Dave and I were so blessed to be given the below dining room set by his aunt and uncle. It's going to work great for the dining area in our new home!!
We've decided that we're going to recover the chair cushions and line the inside back wall of the china cabinet with the following fabric:
We originally ordered the fabric online, but they sent us the wrong material. I was pretty frustrated until they sent a 50% off coupon to use in the store AND the wonderful fabric counter girl at JoAnn's helped us determine that we needed much less material than we originally thought. She really was the sweetest thing, and saved us a bunch of money...it's so wonderful when you're given nice customer service!!
So what do you think? Do you like the material? The white part is actually more of an off-white, which will be better since it's being used in the kitchen and will have the chance of food landing on it. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for the process? Should we make any other changes??
