Ok, not our entire house, but pretty spankin' close. When Dave and I stopped by Saturday evening, I couldn't believe what I saw.
Yeah, I'm sitting in the dining room window. Pretty sweet, huh.
I was in complete shock when I saw all that they had built. But then, I guess if Extreme Home Makeover can build an entire house in one week, I shouldn't be surprised that Standard Pacific could frame our house in two days. It's still awesome though. :)

That's great! Haven't watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition in the longest time. Always a tear-jerker...but then you think that the people will now have to pay a higher property tax for their big old house...and extra bills for utilities...meh...Anyhow, how do they do it in a week?! And get it furnished and decorated all nice.
ReplyDeleteOur neighbors demolished their house, and it's taking forever to be rebuilt! I keep hearing drilling and hammering noises. I hope it'll be done sooner than later...=\
^ ..they (extreme makeover) often pay off the whole mortgage and give all the kids full scholarships to a college. These two things likely free up plenty of cash to pay for some taxes. imho
