Crazy Times

Things sure are a bit crazy around here.  An earthquake yesterday (don't get excited, I didn't even feel it), a hurricane aimed to hit this weekend (if just the rain would come, that would be GREAT, no damage necessary)...potential hubby job loss (sad face...stupid politics)...tons and tons of traveling and weddings (I believe we have five in total that we're attending this summer)...lots of ear infections for the kiddo and sicknesses passing between us all...and of course just "normal" life thrown in there...whew.  It's a bit overwhelming and exhausting at times.  And boy am I grateful to have my God to lean on and to cry to when necessary.  I know He'll work it all for good and that He'll take care of me, whatever comes my way.

We're headed to an ultimate tournament in Maryland this weekend, and I'm super excited to spend time with our friends who live in Virginia and are graciously allowing us to stay at their place...dogs, toddler, and all.  (Yay Mary and G!)  And honestly I'm just super excited to see one of Dave's tournaments.  I've missed out on most of the season so far and (much to my surprise) I LOVE watching his games. (If you know me well, you know I'm not a sports girl in any way, shape, or form.  I don't like playing, following, watching, or talking sports.  At all.  Except for Dave's ultimate frisbee.  For the first time in my life, I've found myself trying to learn more so I can understand the plays and join in the sports talk. Crazy, right?)

How is everyone else's week going? Or just life in general?  Is it as crazy as mine?

And just because everyone appreciates a pic or two, here are a few miscellaneous ones from the last few weeks. I'm really behind on editing and uploading my pictures, so there are many more to come.
