Yay for 4th of July

Hope you all had wonderful holiday weekends! Dave, Krew, and I headed to Charlotte to visit with Dave's family.  Krew got to have all kinds of fun times out on the lake and getting spoiled by his grandmas and grandpas.

We didn't do any fireworks this year. Krew gets scared easily by loud noises, and a really small firework that set off nearby scared him a lot on Sunday, so we decided that taking him out in a field where we'd be bombarded by noises at 10 times the decibel level with bright flashing lights everywhere may not be the most brilliant idea. We did let him throw some little snap pop thing-a-ma-jigs in the garage, and he got scared of those too. So maybe we'll try again next year. :)
